In a significant development, two multi-storied buildings, identified as Buildings 7 and 8, situated within the renowned Raheja Mindspace IT Park in Hyderabad, were demolished on Saturday morning. This demolition marks the beginning of a new phase in the IT park's evolution, as new structures are planned to be erected in place of the razed buildings.
Controlled demolitions were carried out using the latest technology, ensuring the safety of neighboring structures and minimizing the impact of the process. Video clips of the demolitions quickly made their way onto social media platforms, showcasing the controlled and precise nature of the operation.
Latest technology was used to raze G+4 buildings early in the morning. Edifice and Jet Demolition carried out controlled demolitions. The Raheja Mindspace IT Park holds a prominent position at the heart of Hyderabad Information Technology and Engineering Consultancy (Hitec) City, the IT hub. The park is home to several major IT companies and even features a luxurious five-star hotel.
While the exact reasons for the demolitions haven't been disclosed, they are attributed to technical issues. The developer has outlined plans to construct new buildings, with an estimated completion timeline of three to four years.
